One chair or a thousand, every client project deserves the same level of service and attention to detail
Delivering on our design vision of Work, Space and Furniture requires the highest levels of service. The Goat service starts from the moment you get in contact, and does not finish until all packaging has been removed.
Our service is defined by speed and transparency and we pride ourselves on exceptionally quick turnaround. Once we have established a clear brief, we provide a rapid and detailed quotation. Using the latest AutoCAD software, the brief can be turned into a PDF layout and emailed straight to your desktop. Thanks to our strong relationships with our suppliers, you can also be sure we are giving clear, reliable lead times.
Whatever the scale of your project, we will make a point of establishing all your requirements and challenges from the start, so that we can work around you.
Space Planning
It's important to us that you have complete clarity of planning, without unnecessary delay. We quickly turn your brief into a 2- or 3D layout and can also create alternative layouts to demonstrate different ways of working for the future. We're happy to work from your own plans or undertake larger site surveys using the latest AutoCAD software. Larger projects requiring 3D walkthroughs or sample furniture mock-ups are also welcomed.
Naturally, not all scales of project require electronic planning, and we only ever recommend the services our clients need to achieve the right result. We are happy to present plans to your colleagues, where their suggestions can be taken into account on the spot, to avoid adding revision time to the planning process. It goes without saying that Health and Safety is top of mind in every proposal.
Interior Fit Out
Our interior fit out service is where all aspects of design, furniture selection and planning converge. To ensure form and function are given equal weight, our project managers and designers collaborate to produce the final design. Involving our project managers at an early stage helps them to deliver on time and on budget.
Every detail is taken into account before we make a recommendation. We start by considering your workspace, its larger environment, the nature of your business, image and branding, budget and most importantly, your own needs and the needs of your people. Our final recommendations include attention to the practical details vital to both a safe and proper finish: regular and emergency access, departmental position, telephony and cabling, IT, storage, air conditioning, window furniture, ceilings, partitioning and floor materials.
All detail is fed into our drawings and AutoCAD layouts, which are monitored by an independent Building Control Surveyor to ensure they comply with the latest fire and building legislation.
Environment
The latest DEFRA figures show UK industrial and commercial sectors produce over 80 million tonnes of waste per annum. With the majority ending up in landfill, it's important to us to minimise negative impact on the environment.
The environment is considered at every level of our operation. We recommend durable products, built to last, minimising turnover and replacement. We also specify products that are designed to be as recyclable as possible when they reach the end of their life.
We work closely with our suppliers to recycle packaging and used furniture. Wherever possible during delivery and installation our team ensures that packaging is returned for re-use or recycling. We also prefer to email PDF drawings, quotations, order acknowledgements and invoices, if appropriate.
We can also remove your existing furniture and recycle or dispose of it. Inevitably, there is a cost involved in this service; a low administration fee for collections and a charge for stripping out. Costs vary according to volume. In some cases, our suppliers may pass good quality, used furniture on to charities, to extend its life and bring benefit to others.
Live/Work
For many of us the 9 to 5 is a thing of the long-distant past. Nowadays we work as long as we need to, where we need to. We’re working at home and living at work..
At Goat we believe that the live/work space, whether it’s a small corner, dedicated room, floor or outhouse, should be as comfortable, fit for purpose and considered in its design as any other room in the home.
Whatever your requirements, our extensive product range, sound interior design advice and space planning services will help you transform your live/work space.
